Check out What the Maryland JCI Senate is up to!
Have your name in lights - well at least on a placard for everyone to see!! Help support the Maryland JCI Senate by being a Sponsor as we host the 2023 MAI meeting in Timonium, MD. In keeping with our goal of creating and hosting an ecology "sustainable" event, all Sponsors will receive recognition via Placards which will be placed for all to see at various locations. On-Site Whiskey Tasting – For the whiskey connoisseur, or anyone else who just likes good whiskey, we are offering an exclusive tasting opportunity on Friday evening. For the paltry sum of $22 you will be provided your very own tasting glass and then sample at least 3 (there may be more) carefully curated (fancy word for selected) bourbon and/or rye whiskeys. Hosted by Calvin Baerveldt #36419, initiator of the now famous whiskey tastings held at US JCI Senate national meetings, this event is limited to the first 25 people who register. On-Site Beer Tasting – For those looking to sample some craftier craft beer. This event will be on Friday and hosted by Jess Kling 78271, known for hosting many a craft beer sampling at JCI USA and US JCI Senate meetings, this event is limited to the first 25 people who register. Walk / Run in Nature - Long ago the Northern Central Railroad connected York, PA to Baltimore, MD. With the introduction of the interstate system, specifically I-83, this railroad line was no longer needed and has since been turned into a nearly 20-mile trail within Maryland. The trail is ten-feet wide and a stone dust surface (i.e. flat and relatively smooth, acceptable trail for all). There will be an organized and supported (meaning water and snacks) challenge to complete a one-mile, two-mile, and 3.1 mile walk/run on Friday morning on this trail, located minutes from the hotel. Everyone is welcome. This excursion will begin on Friday at 7:30 AM.
That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life;
That the brotherhood of Man transcends the sovereignty of nations;
That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise;
That government should be of laws rather than of men;
That earth's great treasure lies in human personality;
And that service to humanity is the best work of life.
