Check out What the Maryland JCI Senate is up to!
On-Site Beer Tasting – For those looking to sample some craftier craft beer. For $17 (includes fees) you will be provided your very own tasting glass and will sample at least 4 (there will probably be more) Maryland craft beers only available at their individual breweries, and most likely a Southern Delaware brewery as well. This event will be on Friday and hosted by Jess Kling 78271, known for hosting many a craft beer sampling at JCI USA and US JCI Senate meetings, this event is limited to the first 25 people who register. Minimum of ten participants.
Walk / Run in Nature - Long ago the Northern Central Railroad connected York, PA to Baltimore, MD. With the introduction of the interstate system, specifically I-83, this railroad line was no longer needed and has since been turned into a nearly 20-mile trail within Maryland. The trail is ten-feet wide and a stone dust surface (i.e. flat and relatively smooth, acceptable trail for all). There will be an organized and supported (meaning water and snacks) challenge to complete a one-mile, two-mile, and 3.1 mile walk/run on Friday morning on this trail, located minutes from the hotel. Everyone is welcome. This excursion will begin on Friday at 7:30 AM.
That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life;
That the brotherhood of Man transcends the sovereignty of nations;
That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise;
That government should be of laws rather than of men;
That earth's great treasure lies in human personality;
And that service to humanity is the best work of life.
